DESCRIPTION Ara is a collection of lighting fixtures resulting from experimentation with volume and movement in multiple layers of paper, assembled in a bold, curvy, and gracious design.
A whole family composed of flexible pieces that can be easily delivered and allow its user a panoply of configurations.
In its conception, development, and manufacture, in close collaboration between Paris and New York, Ara represents a sexy wink to the kinetic art movement and the historical relationship between France and the United States as creative hubs during the late 60s and 70s.
FEATURES
Materials: (body) an assemblage of more than 150 sheets of fire-resistant and water-repellant papier, ranging from 200 up to 5000 linear feet in length.
