DESCRIPTION Food is culture, as many personalities in the culinary world (Lidia Bastianich and Massimo Montanari among them) have pointed out. With this philosophy in mind, RADS’ team worked on this surface sensibilization project for the gastronomic agency Gluttonomy’s HQ in Miami.
The elements in the mural represent a graphic synthesis of different food elements that resonate in Latino and US cultures. Vegetable leaves, a pig’s hoof, an empanada, and an arepa become black-and-white minimalistic and quintessential icons intertwined in these two traditions.
